When we go on vacation, our horses go with us. So far we have ridden in the Allegheny
Mountains in Pennsylvania, the Virginia Highlands of the Mt.
Rogers National Recreation Area in Virginia, the Smokey Mountains
in Tennessee, The Black Hills and The Badlands of South Dakota
and the back country of Yellowstone in Wyoming. We have taken our
own horses (all Missouri Fox Trotters) on the rides and have come
back more impressed than ever with the willingness and
sure-footedness of the Fox Trotter. Often these are young horses
and these rides are the culmination of their trail training. They
come back from these trips ready to go anywhere that the trails
in Ohio and surrounding states have to offer.
